Neck Pain – Springdale, PA

Woman with neck pain at desk

Do you struggle with neck pain and live in the Pittsburgh, PA area?  We would like to help.

A popular response to neck pain is taking drugs to cover up the problem (aspirin, anti-inflammatory, pain pills) or treating the symptoms (muscle relaxers, massage, hot packs).  But neck pain isn’t caused by a lack of aspirin or drugs!  Dr. Frazetta has been helping patients with neck pain for over 20 years.  He does it by getting to the underlying cause of the neck pain.  This begins with a case history and thorough chiropractic examination.  Special attention is given to the structure and functions of the spine and it’s affect on the nervous system.  Misalignments of the spine that irritate spinal nerves (subluxations) are often the cause of the neck pain.  Once corrected the body then can function how it was designed and will heal itself.  One study published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics found that patients who received chiropractic care reported significant improvement in their neck function and reduction in their neck pain, whereas their taking pain killers did not.

We would like the opportunity to help you with your neck pain.  When you come in for your first appointment you will have a consultation and exam with Dr. Frazetta that is specifically designed to uncover the cause of your problem.  If we can help we will recommend the most conservative and effective care for your unique situation.

So, contact us today to schedule your first visit.  You will be glad you did.

Here’s what some of our patients have to say.

In January 2006, my husband took me to the local emergency room because the right side of my face had become numb and paralyzed.  I couldn’t blink my right eye and I had a nagging ache in the back right side of my head…I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy…I was given a prescription for Prednisone which the doctor clearly stated was not a cure…the following day I went to Dr. Frazetta hoping he could get rid of the pain in the back of my head…by my 3rd adjustment, the pain was gone and I was making rapid improvement in my facial paralysis.  In a little more than a week, no one could even tell I had Bell’s Palsy…after a little more than two weeks, my Bell’s Palsy was completely gone!  Sharon W.

Several months ago, I had sudden onset of a severe stiff neck, making it difficult to carry on my daily responsibilities without pain.  My husband and two sons were already patients of Dr. Frazetta…The office staff was very willing to arrange a prompt appointment for me…after two adjustments I had relief from my neck pain…after several weeks, my neck felt better than it had in years, with greater flexibility and less tension being felt there…I find it very easy to make appointments that meet my schedule needs.  The ladies in the office are always friendly, efficient and accommodation of everyone’s needs…I am very pleased with my progress, with Dr. Frazetta’s expertise and the with the overall positive experience of such a warm and friendly staff! Kathy B.
