What does a football coach and a baseball bat have to do with Chiropractic?

CHIROPRACTIC IS DISTINCT – THERE IS NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT!

Let me ask you this…would you write the airline industry to inquire about trains?  They both represent modes of transport.  How about a football coach with questions about how to swing a baseball bat?  Why, they’re both ball games played on a field.  Do you think you would get a well informed, unbiased answer?

Chiropractic is much the same when compared to medicine.  They are both methods of health intervention, but separate and distinct entities.  The Doctor of Chiropractic degree requires as many hours in the college classroom (and in many cases more) as a student spends for a Medical degree.  Medical physicians have no accredited training in chiropractic.

Reports on chiropractic published by the governments of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States are all favorable and point out that chiropractic is unique.  Workers Compensation studies done in several states all note that for many spinal conditions, chiropractic is the most beneficial, efficient, cost-effective and safe.  The World Health Organization recognizes and supports chiropractic science.  By the same token, National Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Medicine reports that medical mistakes are the eighth leading cause of death in the U.S. There is no viable research documentation that chiropractic is unsafe.  The medical profession does much for our society and has saved many lives.  Chiropractic too, has saved many lives and should be articulated by its own experts, not by those of another profession.  Don’t limit your resources in maintaining your health and well-being!
