The Spanish flu pandemic of 1918 is the worst recorded in history, killing between 10 and 20 million people worldwide. Here some SURVIVAL facts of that age that will be beneficial to you in today’s times.

In the birthplace of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, 50 medical doctors cared for 4,953 infected with 274 deaths while 150 chiropractors saw 1,635 cases with only one death. Statewide statistics showed medical doctors treated 93,590 patients, with 6,116 deaths, a mortality rate of 6.7%. Chiropractic cases in Davenport numbered 4,735 yet only 6 perished – a mortality rate of on 0.1% (a loss of only 1 out of 790). Nationally it was even better, the loss of patients to Spanish flu was one out of every 859 (0.11%) for those who went the natural Chiropractic route vs. a little under 10% mortality if you went the medical route.

Avoiding any sickness comes down to how well you practice LIFE promoting habits: Wash your hands, up your intake of Vitamin D and most of all don’t let fear (from over sensationalized media reports) weaken your psyche.  A strong mind, with well ADJUSTED nerve system will help you weather the storm.
